Frequently Asked Questions

EPACENTER is a creative youth development center for the kids and teens of East Palo Alto.

EPACENTER is privately funded. Because we partner with the City of East Palo Alto, the city is able to offer some programs at our facility.

Thank you in advance for your support! EPACENTER’s EIN is 47-2008341.

Please refer to our Programs page here to see which courses and internships are currently available to youth.

Campus safety is our highest priority. Our campus is gated and alarmed, as well as staffed by a dedicated team of trained security staff.

Please email programs@epacenterarts.org for further information regarding our current student waitlist.

All courses and internships at EPACENTER are currently only available for youth ages 6-25.

Our hours are Monday through Friday from 12 pm – 7 pm and Saturdays from 9 am – 12 pm. EPACENTER is closed on Sundays.

Considering the current prevalence of COVID-19 as well as campus safety, we are not currently conducting in-person public tours. However, a virtual tour of our facility is available here.

The cafe is a safe space for kids and teens where they can learn important life skills like cooking and are able to bring home to their families the meals that they make.

Our music studios and private lesson rooms are currently set up as classrooms for EPACENTER students and are not available for rental at this time.
