We’re excited to launch Sunset Concerts, a new outdoor music series bringing unforgettable live performances to EPACENTER! Bay Area music lovers are invited to gather in our outdoor amphitheater for intimate concerts with major headliners, set against the Bay Area’s beautiful summer sunsets. Concertgoers can bring blankets for lawn seating, and rental chairs, food, and beverages will be available for purchase onsite.
Special ticket pricing is available for East Palo Alto residents with proof of ID at entry. Join us for unforgettable evenings of music this summer!

Our Summer Concerts series kicks off with legendary Latin jazz percussionist Pete Escovedo, a Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement recipient recognized for his 50-year career merging Latin, jazz, funk, and salsa. Escovedo will bring rhythm, powerful timbales, and Afro‑Cuban percussion to this celebration of music, culture, family, and legacy.

“Queen of Percussion” Sheila E. will play an afterparty following EPACENTER’s annual fundraiser, in an electrifying evening concert open to the public titled EPACENTER Illuminated: The After Glow! Music lovers will have the opportunity to support EPACENTER’s mission in this one-night-only event through premium seating tiers that include special amenities such as reserved seating and refreshments. An Oakland native, Sheila E. has worked with artists including Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Beyoncé, and is one of the few Bay Area artists with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
