FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where is EPACENTER located?
1950 Bay Rd, East Palo Alto, CA 94303 (Corner of Bay Rd and Pulgas Ave) 

Is parking available?
Yes. There is limited parking on-site behind our building on Bay Road for attendees of EPACENTER Signature and Community Events. Nearby street parking is also available. If the event you are attending requires overflow parking, you will be directed upon arrival.

Is parking free?
Most parking options are free. Please observe posted signage and neighborhood parking regulations.

Do you recommend arriving early?
Yes. We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes before doors open, especially for sold-out or high-attendance events.

Is public transportation an option?
Yes. EPACENTER is accessible via local bus routes and rideshare services.

Is EPACENTER ADA accessible?
Yes. EPACENTER is an ADA-accessible facility, including accessible entrances, restrooms, and seating options.

Do you offer accessible seating?
Yes. Accessible seating is available. Please arrive early and speak with front-of-house staff for assistance.

Who should I contact with accessibility needs?
Email events@epacenterarts.org at least 3 days in advance of the event you are attending. Please use this subject line, “Accessibility Question for Event Name/Date”

Will there be security on site?
Yes. EPACENTER provides trained front-of-house staff and security personnel as appropriate for the event.

Are bags subject to search?
Yes. For the safety of all guests, bags may be subject to visual inspection upon entry.

What items are prohibited?
Prohibited items may include (but are not limited to):

Weapons of any kind
Illegal substances
Outside alcohol
Pyrotechnics or open flames
Large or obstructive items
Final determinations are at staff discretion.

EPACENTER is a shared community space. By attending an event, all guests agree to the following:

Treat staff, artists, volunteers, and fellow guests with respect

Follow posted signage and staff instructions

Remain in designated audience areas unless otherwise permitted

Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, or discriminatory behavior

EPACENTER reserves the right to remove individuals who do not comply with house rules, without refund.

Is food or alcohol available?
Food and/or beverages may be available for select events. Alcohol, when offered, is sold by licensed vendors only.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, except for medical or accessibility needs.

Are children allowed?
Many EPACENTER events are family-friendly, while others are intended for teens or adults. Please review the age guidance on the individual event listing.

Do children need tickets?
Ticket requirements for children vary by event and will be noted on the individual event listing.


What if I arrive late?
Late seating may be restricted depending on the event. Entry is not guaranteed once a performance has begun.

Can I leave and re-enter?
Re-entry policies vary by event and may be restricted.
